SUMMARY
To demonstrate the potential of Metaverse experiences to partners such as T-Mobile and AT&T, Meta's Facebook Reality Labs commissioned my team at Parallux to design and build diverse virtual retail environments. Our mission was to create impactful and playful spaces that represented the future of social virtual reality.
APPROACH
In partnership with Meta, I led the design and development of engaging virtual environments.
Led a team of expert developers and artists to create immersive virtual stores and event spaces.
Designed fly-through videos and walkthroughs to foster a compelling user introduction to these novel spaces.
RESULTS
Meta and its partners were thrilled with the outcomes, using the virtual environments and media assets to generate new business opportunities and excitement.
CLIENT SKETCHES AND RESEARCH
Meta provided me with preliminary sketches as a stepping stone to design a diverse array of virtual reality experiences, including a retail space, a prize balloon drop, an all-hands event, and an expansive view of a branded Metaverse world.
FINAL RENDERINGS
For each project, I curated and produced a diverse range of virtual environments. Some were created from scratch, while others were cleverly kitbashed from various 3D asset stores. I guided our developers to precisely stage props and add bespoke animation to each character.
Working with technical artists, I set camera angles and produced energetic fly-through videos to transform static spaces into dynamic Metaverse landscapes.**
